In Loving Memory of Tamica Wilson

Tamica was born on October 12, 1975, and on September 4, 2026, God called her home. She was a loving, caring, and compassionate woman who was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Tamica had a beautiful heart and a genuine concern for everyone she encountered. Her kindness, warmth, humor, and loving spirit touched the lives of so many.

She dedicated her professional life to caring for others in the medical field, where she worked with individuals with disabilities. Her patience, compassion, and dedication were a true reflection of the loving person she was. Caring for others was more than a profession for Tamica—it was a part of her heart.

Tamica was a beautiful soul who knew how to have a good time and make the people around her laugh. She was fun-loving, full of personality, and never afraid to be herself. Her sense of humor could light up a room, and she had a special way of turning ordinary moments into memories that her family and loved ones will cherish forever.

Family meant everything to Tamica. She loved her family deeply and fiercely, and when it came to the people she loved, she simply did not play about them. She was protective, loyal, and always ready to stand up for the people closest to her. Her love was genuine and unconditional, and everyone fortunate enough to know her could feel it.

Tamica was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Jean Wilson, and her father, James Jordan.

Tamica leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved son, Amir Wilson; four grandchildren, Azariah, Amirah, Anari, and Amina; mother/aunt, Viola Massey; father/uncle, Adam Massey; brothers, Rodney Wilson and Derric Massey; sisters, Tawana Wilson and Lavonna Powell (James); six nieces, Tanisha, Quanda, Kenyona, Derchell, Sequia, and Asia; two nephews, Derric II and Jaden; 26 great nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins, family members, and friends who loved her dearly.

Those who knew Tamica will remember her for her caring nature, gentle spirit, quick sense of humor, and the love she freely gave to others. She had a way of making people feel cared for, valued, and accepted. Her presence brought comfort, laughter, and joy, and her absence leaves a void that cannot be filled.

Though her time with us was far too short, the love she gave and the memories she created will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her beautiful spirit will live on through her son, her family, her friends, and all the lives she touched throughout her journey.

Tamica will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
