LAWRENCE JAMES FASHAW

January 12, 1960 – June 12, 2026

Lawrence James Fashaw, affectionately known as “Larry,” departed this life peacefully on June 12, 2026, at the age of 66.

Born in Harlem, New York, Lawrence proudly served four years in the United States Army and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He shared 25 loving years of marriage with his beloved wife, Rena Fashaw.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Rena Fashaw; daughters Tiffany Fashaw, Jacqueline Fashaw, Theundra Hamilton, Louise Hamilton, and Priscilla Fashaw; stepson Russell Lewis, Jr.; stepdaughter Cantoneese Gutter; 15 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; siblings Samson Fashaw, Zachary Fashaw, Darrin Fashaw, Ricky Fashaw, and Pamela Fashaw; brothers-in-law John Kelly, Brett Kelly, and Maurice Kelly (Shawanda); and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, Jacqueline Fashaw and Samson Fashaw.

His kindness, strength, and unwavering love for family will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life and legacy. 🕊️
